The woman, 23-year-old Gloria Wright, was arrested in Rochester, New York. She is charged with murder and cruelty to children for the death of her son on January 8th.
Police believe Wright fled to New York after hitting her son in the head, causing fatal injuries. An autopsy showed the injuries were not accidental, like from a fall.
