Man unleashed a racist tirade on a bartender because he asked him to pay his bill, also told him that Trump will deport him

A tourist from Virginia, Michael Nixon (42), was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida, for making racist remarks to a bartender after being asked to pay his $130.81 bill.

According to police reports, Nixon used offensive language against the bartender, making comments targeting people of Hispanic descent. He reportedly said things like:.. Continue reading here ▶

• “I won’t pay s—.”
• “English, motherf—er. I live in America. You speak English.”
• “Hola” (said sarcastically)
• “English, b—. F—ing Trump is going to deport your a–.”

The incident happened at Norman’s Tavern on North Beach. Nixon reportedly became increasingly aggressive, punching another employee in the face and intentionally bumping his shoulder into the bartender as he left the bar to prevent further violence.

Nixon left the bar but returned while police were investigating. He was arrested and charged with:

• Felony battery with prejudice (a more serious charge due to the bias involved)
• Misdemeanor criminal mischief (for causing damage)
• Misdemeanor defrauding an innkeeper (for not paying his bill)
• Misdemeanor disorderly conduct (for his disruptive behavior)

He was held on a $5,450 bond.
