Trump’s $20 billion lawsuit against CBS over a Kamala Harris interview has escalated into a high-stakes legal showdown—with the network demanding access to Trump’s personal and business financial records as part of discovery.

Lawyers for CBS say they plan to demand that President Donald Trump — who is allegedly letting DOGE pillage U.S. treasury data, according to multiple lawsuits — fork over his own personal finance information to the network, should he follow through with his $20 billion lawsuit against it over a Kamala Harris “60 Minutes” interview from last year, which he claims was deceptively “doctored.”

“Defendants believe discovery is needed into President Trump’s personal financials, as well as the financials of Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign organizations and of Trump Media & Technology Group, including with respect to Truth Social and the $TRUMP meme crypto project,” wrote CBS lawyers in a joint proposed scheduling order filed Tuesday in the Northern District of Texas Amarillo Division, where Trump and Texas Rep.
