Victoria-Gonzalez said she hadn’t seen her roommate since Christmas. But the police didn’t believe her story.
Police investigated and found clues in their shared home that suggested a violent event had taken place there. They eventually found Victoria-Gonzalez in Hartford, Connecticut, a long way from Orlando.

They interviewed her and then arrested her in November 2024. The police video is from that arrest. In the video, Victoria-Gonzalez indicates she doesn’t speak much English, so a translator helped the police communicate with her in Spanish.
Even though Victoria-Gonzalez has been arrested for murder, her roommate, Runyleidy Medina-Pacheco, is still missing. Police in Orlando are asking anyone with information about this case to contact them.
