Far-right Trump supporter and former Florida congressional candidate Laura Loomer has intensified her feud with tech billionaire Elon Musk. This comes after Musk briefly responded to her criticisms on Thursday.
Loomer, known for her outspoken views, has called on former President Donald Trump to remove any “Big Tech” influence from his future plans. The conflict escalated after Musk responded to far-right Malaysian influencer Ian Miles Chong, who shared Loomer’s claim that Musk’s “Department of Government Efficiency” is just a scheme to funnel taxpayer money into projects that benefit billionaires. Musk dismissed Loomer’s accusations, saying, “Loomer is trolling for attention. Ignore.”
Loomer fired back strongly, accusing Musk of hypocrisy and ulterior motives. “Telling the truth isn’t trolling. Read the room!” she replied, claiming Musk’s actions were self-serving and designed to protect his own interests. She also accused him of trying to gain influence over Trump’s policies, particularly around immigration.
In a lengthy rant, Loomer insisted she has been a loyal supporter of Trump from the start and understands his campaign promises, such as reducing H1B visas and immigration. She accused Musk and other tech billionaires of undermining American workers by favoring foreign labor and aligning with China.
Loomer ended her tirade by reminding Musk that Trump, not him, was the leader she and others supported. She also made pointed remarks about Musk’s attempts to gain influence within Trump’s circle. “Maybe others are too afraid to talk to you like this, but I’m not. Did I get your attention?” she wrote.
