A man in Kentucky has been accused of murdering an 18-month-old girl he was babysitting after she suffered severe injuries.

Around 4 p.m., Corbin reportedly called the children’s mother to say the toddler was breathing abnormally. Minutes later, he called 911, claiming the girl had stopped breathing.
When officers arrived, they found the child in critical condition and rushed her to the hospital. She was later airlifted to Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville.
Doctors found that the toddler had severe swelling and bleeding around her scalp and face, skull fractures, and internal bleeding. Tragically, she died from her injuries.
A pediatrician specializing in child abuse described the girl’s skull fractures as the worst they had ever seen.
Corbin was arrested and charged with murder. Police did not clarify his relationship to the children’s mother.
Speaking to WDRB, a police spokesperson called the crime “heinous and disgusting,” questioning how someone could harm a baby. It’s unclear if Corbin has entered a plea or hired an attorney.
