Tesla Cybertruck Surprises with Record-Breaking Charging Speed in Slovakia

A group of Tesla fans made an interesting discovery when they charged a Cybertruck at a new, powerful 600 kW charger in Bratislava, Slovakia. The images and data they shared from the charging session showed that the Cybertruck reached an impressive peak charging rate of 405 kW.

According to a report from Huntinspeed.sk, this happened during the opening of Ejoin’s ultra-fast charging hub in Bratislava. This new hub, which can charge electric vehicles at incredibly fast speeds, attracted special guests, including the famous Slovak cyclist Peter Sagan. The team from Cybertruck.cz, a Czech company, also brought their Cybertruck to the event to test the charger.

During the event, the Cybertruck.cz team plugged their vehicle into the 600 kW charger, and the results surprised everyone. The Cybertruck managed to reach a peak charging rate of 405 kW, at a speed of 1,659 km per hour of charge. This was unexpected since Tesla has not officially advertised the Cybertruck as being capable of charging at over 400 kW.

According to Huntinspeed.sk, the Cybertruck had only 7% battery left when it started charging, but even when it reached 99%, it was still drawing 32 kW of power from the charger. These charging numbers are extremely impressive and might even set a record for the Cybertruck.

These results suggest that the Cybertruck might be more capable than many people thought. Despite facing criticism since its launch for not being as strong as other pickup trucks, this charging performance shows that there may be more to the vehicle. Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, has always claimed that the Cybertruck is Tesla’s best vehicle yet, and this charging session might support that claim.

It seems the Cybertruck has some surprises up its sleeve, especially with its ability to charge at such high speeds.
