The incident happened around 10 p.m. on December 24, 2024, in Butler Township. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Rapsinski’s 27-year-old brother lying on the ground outside with a gunshot wound to his groin.
The victim identified his brother, Logan Rapsinski, as the shooter. Police found and arrested Logan a short distance away.

The victim later found Logan sitting in his car nearby and approached him. That’s when Logan allegedly loaded a gun and shot his brother from about 14 feet away before running off.
Police quickly located Logan, who had reportedly called 911 about the incident. Officers found a loaded handgun near him at the time of his arrest.
